Depending on your chosen institution and course, you may need to take an admissions test as part of your application (some joint degree courses require you to take two tests).

 

As well as being an entry requirement, an admissions test gives you the chance to show your potential to succeed in your course.

TMUA - Test of Mathematics for University Admission

The Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA) is designed to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have the essential mathematical thinking and reasoning skills needed  for a demanding undergraduate Mathematics or Mathematics-related course.

These assessments are required for a number of undergraduate courses, as part of the application process. For certain courses, you may be required to take more than one test.

STEP - Sixth Term Examination Paper 2024

STEP 3 - 9am, 24th June 2024

STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) Mathematics is a well-established mathematics examination designed to test candidates on questions that are similar in style to undergraduate mathematics.

 

STEP is used by the University of Cambridge, the University of Warwick and Imperial College London. Please check the details of your course(s) to confirm if you are required to take STEP as part of the application process. If you are in any doubt, please contact the university directly.
